I am in the process of uploading four new drawings I did for the Christmas holidays this year. One is a drawing that our family gave as a gift for Christmas. Three other drawings were commissioned for either Christmas gifts or for Anniversary gift. I had to hold off uploading these until they where given as gifts. But now I've been given the all clear to show, so I hope you enjoy seeing what I've been up to these past few months. Once we take down our Christmas tree I'll be able to start painting again. I can't wait to use my new easel, painter knives, and other new art supplies given to me as gifts from my loving family.

I'm so excited to be able to show you this painting. I've loved the entire process of coming up with the layout, seeing it in a tiny thumbnail drawing, drawing it out full size on canvas and then watching it evolve into what you see today. I love the smell of the oil painting filling my house even though my daughter doesn't share that emotion, ha. I love sitting at night watching tv or a movie finding myself staring at the painting, thinking of what I need to do next and what I would do different if I were starting it over again. It's actually very hard to say it's done because I could tweak it forever really. So I hope you enjoy viewing this painting as much as I've enjoyed painting it.

Jackson Square Fountain is my latest painting I've been working on. I have about 4 weekends of work into it at this point and I'm a little over half way finished. As I paint more I'll upload images to show you the progress.
